Jessica has over a decade of experience working with diverse populations and a variety of age groups, including children, adolescents and adults. Her aim is to guide individuals and families through the difficult process of healing using an empathetic approach to overcome challenges, teach skills to improve quality of life, and identify strengths to increase resiliency and hope. Jessica has extensive experience assisting individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, stress and adjustment issues, self-esteem, school struggles, and family conflict. She has a passion for working with parents by providing them with guidance and strategies to improve parent-child interactions and communication as well as strengthen family relationships.
Jessica holds a Bachelors’ Degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois. She utilizes trauma-informed, evidenced based treatment practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, along with elements of strength-based therapy and a family systems approach. Jessica is also bilingual and serves both English and Spanish speaking populations.
