With more than 15 years of clinical and administrative experience in behavioral health, Dr. Ventrelle holds a passion for innovation and advancement in the field. His belief in therapeutic intervention as a means to assist people in accomplishing and achieving their goals has fueled his work over that time. Dr. Ventrelle has been privileged to work with individuals and families in outpatient, inpatient and residential settings, as well as serving significant leadership roles in not-for-profit organizations. As the Executive Director of the EDGE Programs, Dr. Ventrelle maintains responsibility for the development and implementation of the strategic vision and direction of both EDGE Counseling Solutions and EDGE Learning and Wellness Collegiate Community, a young adult transitional living program located in Chicago. His clinical expertise lies in the treatment of children and adolescents with disruptive behavior issues, and Dr. Ventrelle has given numerous talks within the community designed to assist parents in understanding and responding to challenging behavior. Additionally, Dr. Ventrelle specializes in comprehensive psychological assessment for clients of all ages, including intellectual and personality assessment measures.
Dr. Ventrelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, and is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois. He has received specialized training with OMNI Youth Services in Buffalo Grove and Vista Medical Center in Waukegan.
